Belgrade, Sep 4 – ICT Hub Venture, the first private IT investment fund in Serbia, has invested in ShootSet, a startup from Pancevo that connects photographers with models.

Since ICT Hub Venture was found in January 2017, it has made a total of 7 investments in young companies in Serbia. ShootSet is our latest investment. It is an online platform that connects photographers and photo models to achieve cooperation without intermediaries. The most important fact is that both target groups have to make it through the ShootSet selection process. The purpose of this selection is to ensure the service quality for every user. Photographers must provide a certificate of authenticity to guarantee a professional approach and safety for models. On the other hand, when applying to the platform, models have to upload a portfolio. Our team of experts will then classify them into categories: beginner, rising star, or recommended models.

This startup has a four-member team of founders: Mihajlo Petrov – director, Miloš Radovanović – an experienced model and expert for the modeling industry, and the development team – Alen Ankajcan and Ivan Maloparac. Together with the ICT Hub Venture fund, ShootSet will continue improving the platform and expanding to the global market. So far, several thousand models and photographers from the region have recognized the value ShootSet offers, so now it is time to set sail for the global market. Their first step outside the Balkan region will be right to the photo industry center – Los Angeles, United States. ICT Hub will support and mentor this great team in several ways along the way to help them achieve their goals as quickly as possible.

Along with the financial support, startups gain access to our network of mentors and contacts.

The ICT Hub Venture Fund investment comprises three components.

The first is the monetary component (up to EUR 50,000 for a 5-15% ownership stake).

The second component refers to mentorship and support according to the individual needs of each team member. It means working on both business and individual skills development.

The third and last component refers to access to the network of contacts and ICT Hub sales channels.

For more information on the criteria, see the Manifesto page.
